Natural Beauty & Bath Products | January Favorites
I love a good natural beauty product.
In January, I tried a lot of new (to me) natural beauty and bath products, and the ones below have become absolute favorites that I plan to continue repurchasing.
Our skin is our largest organ, and what we put on our skin is absorbed into the body. Just as eating whole real food is important, so is using natural beauty products that do not contain any harmful or foreign ingredients.
The natural beauty products
My awesome sister-in-law was the first to recommend I check out Lush products. Lush is an amazing company that produces creative handmade beauty products. Not only are the actual products amazing, the company is as well. Lush actively fights animal testing, they source only ethical ingredients, and all the packaging is recycled or recyclable. This mask is my absolutely favorite! My face feels smooth for days. I’ve been using it 2x a week. Mask of Magnaminty Face Cleanser Cream 11.1 oz by LUSH
When I received a Petit Vour beauty box a few months ago, this little gem was inside. This is the first oil/serum I’ve used that actually does as it promises, it doesn’t cause breakouts, and the brand is 100% vegan and natural. Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil
At 26, the struggle with spots is still real. I decided to try this sulfur ointment because it’s much cheaper than the sulfur mask I’d had my eye on. It definitely diminishes my acne spots and heals them a lot faster than normal. What I especially like is that it doesn’t leave my skin really dry. 10% Sulfur Ointment – Acne & Skin Care
I’ve been using coconut oil to remove my eye makeup. I take a bit in my palm and warm it up first, then just rub all over my eyes. There are no harsh ingredients and the oil is super hydrating for the skin around the eyes. My mascara and eyeliner slide right off! One jar lasts eternity, so this is a much cheaper alternative to regular bottles of makeup remover. Nutiva Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
I also received this next product in my Petit Vour box, and it’s been by my night stand ever since! I smooth some on my hands and elbows before bed and breathe in the calming and earthy lavender aroma. Apoterra Tulsi Oil
I’ve read a lot about the dangers of chemicals in mainstream deodorants and antiperspirant. Most of which claim a link to different types of cancer. I use deodorant every day, and it is absorbed by my skin every day. I believe it’s worth it to go for the natural stuff. This is the first type I’ve tried that really works all day long!
